Bottled 5-30-17. Bell's wheat beer glass.

A: pours a hazy yellow with one finger white head that retains like a champ. Streams of small bubble carb flowing up. Exquisite lacing.

S: Citra! Banging citrus with loud bubblegum and wheaty undertones. After a minute the nose becomes acclimated and it's just the Belgian phenols that stand out. Grapefruit, pineapple, bubblegum, wheat.

T: fruity and crisp arrival, slightly tart, turns to a lightweight, wheaty middle, then Belgian phenols - bubblegum, clove, and a lingering phenolic/medicinal citrus quality. You really cannot get more flavor than this in a 4.7% ABV beer, I dare you to try.

M: exceptionally crisp and refreshing. Light and highly carbonated, but lots of slickness, and the bubbles are small.

O: if someone asks me what the last "wow" beer I had was, this is the answer. If you don't like Belgian beer, steer clear. But if you do, and you want a refreshing hoppy saison, you have to try this. I plan to buy a six pack before the summer is out.

12 oz bottle poured into Speigelau IPA glass bottled on1/31

A: bright clear yellow gold body with a huge frothy pillowy white head.

S: little lemon hay a little funky a touch of the hops that make pilsners so outstanding.a little earthy as well.

T: mild sweetness light clove hay little lemon a little of the earthiness and funk.

M: prickly high carbonation pretty standard for the style.

O: it's just ok nothing really stands out about it. It is easy drinking though and would be a nice refreshing summer beer.

Bottled on 1/31/17. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy pale straw yellow; fluffy eggshell white head that falls leaving great retention and nice lacing. The aromas are yeast forward with some hops in the mix. Banana and bubblegum is there along with some grapefruit. The flavors are clean with a solid bitterness. More banana and bubblegum along with more grapefruit notes. Some pineapple in the mix. Subtle hints of black pepper. Alcohol obviously goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light with moderate to active carbonation. It's fluffy and smooth. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

This is a nice brew. It almost stays true to style, but it has a nice mild hop bite. Very quaffable and enjoyable.
