8/18/24 - (Can - Home) (Chicago, IL) Can Notes: Obtained via a 7/19/24 trade with David, @doctorzombies on Beer Advocate. 12 oz canned 5/30/24 @ 3:04 PM. Double India Pale Ale, 8.3% ABV, brewed & canned by Columbus Brewing Company, Columbus, Ohio.
Appearance: Full pour than top off into a nucleated pint glass. Unfiltered golden yellow base, light carbonation, generous creamy white head lingers post aggressive pour for several minutes. Some floaters noted. 4.0
Aroma: Pine and citrus in the house, mild plus strength, a bit higher in enjoyment. Floral grassy and dank notes back well. 4.25
Taste: Bitter dank pine and citrus lead the way, the floral notes come in nicely, more intense than the aroma portends, but also chill, nice and easy. 4.25
Mouthfeel: Feels light and easy, but kicks in the second half. Light to medium body, gentle carbonation, dank, piney resin adds perceived depth, pine citrus dank finish very enjoyable. 4.5
Overall: Probably should have popped this open a month ago, but without the experience of a fresh version, this held up very well and is banger as is. Definitely want to find more of these, and would update the rating if an under month version is available down the road. Thank you so much David! 4.5

Pours a clear yellow-straw color with 3 fingers of white foam with crazy long lasting lacing into a specific DH IPA glass. Aroma of dank C hops and clean malt with flavors that mirror the aroma. Just a pleasure to drink.

Poured from a can at the Cleveland HoB before seeing the illustrious Soul Coughing live for my first time.
Beautiful pour, cloudy with a great head. Definitely some melon on the nose. Drinks like a nice melony-pine with a bitter hoppy kick to the teeth, just like I like it. This beer definitely doesn't disappoint.

Avery tasty DIPA. Citrus and floral hops combine nicely to hide the high ABV. Almost too quaffable. Balanced flavors and meticulously crafted. What’s not to like?

Can. Cloudy light orange. Beautiful head. Just great aroma of tangerines and grapefruit. The flavor follows. Sweet and very hoppy. Wonderfully big, yet balanced. Very nicely done.

Beautiful, somewhat cloudy looking pour that gleams of gold and straw. Ample head gives way to decent persistent lacing. Scents of honey, melon, orange marmalade, and even a hint of butterscotch? are available. These blend into the flavors nicely with doses of piney resin with bitter complexity to balance the hints of sweetness out perfectly. This beer is an absolute gem giving most everything to please any IPA enthusiast. A real pleasure to have gotten as an extra in a trade with @rpbuckeye
