12 FL OZ can
Served in a pokal glass
This beer pours pale yellow with a slight haze to it. It is topped with a couple inches of off-white head that leaves decent lacing.
Biscuit aroma with lemony notes.
Pretty neutral flavor from the malt. I think white bread or communion wafer. The hops offer a kiss of lemon. Clean finish.
Medium to light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
Easy drinking lager. Pretty plain and simple.

Columbus Lager has a very thick, soapy head and a hazy, straw appearance with heavy lacing. The aroma is of biscuit malt and grass. It has a similar flavor, with mellow bitterness. Columbus Lager has a medium body and a crisp finish.

For a “cheap” beer (15 for $18) I find it incredibly smooth and easy to drink, with great taste and lots of flavor. It’s become my go-to beer. I’m not a beer connoisseur, and I prefer craft beers over anything like Bud Light or other cheap American lagers, but this truly is an amazing beer for the price and its drinkability is outstanding.

16 ounce can, canned on 09/16/21. Served in a Columbus Brewing pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear gold color with about an inch or so off-white head that stuck around a while. Lots of lacing, too. The brew smells like bready/doughy malt and light noble hops. For the most part the taste is like the aroma, but there's also a bit of dried apple flavor noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall lager, nice and easy drinking. Wish I would have bought more than just this single can, would definitely drink more of these in the future!
