Pleasantly spritzy dark brew with a ruby edge in the pint nonic. Just a little beige foam. A little winey but light mouthfeel.
Some dark and blackened grain, but mostly a roasted dark caramel taste. Bitterish tang at the finish. On the sharp side for a Porter but quite drinkable.
Not much aroma but a whiff of burnt cereal. Very pleasing, though, just enough sweetness to take the edge off and a mild but substantial dark malt taste. On tap at the brewery restaurant near downtown Denver.
