a well made and tropical hoppy ipa, clean and tasty, professionally done like all the beers in here, just not as different and original as i am used to from these guys, even when they go basic styles, they still all seem to have a certain house flavor thats more than just yeast derived, and this one isnt like that, although it sure hits the mark for summertime drinking with notes of pineapple and apple and melon to the hops, moderate bitterness, and a clean and simple grain profile without being watery at all, in fact quite the opposite, there is some real body for how minimal the malt is in the flavor. the nose and taste are equally bold on the hops, southern hemisphere type mix of hops, although none specifically jump out at me, which i suppose is the mark of good integration and varietal selection, but maybe i should know and just dont. really clean and dry, fresh citrus and pineapple all the way through it but never sweet, good carbonation rushes through the finish, and it doesnt drink like its anywhere near 7% abv! look out! a solid summer ipa.
