one of the better brut types being done locally here i reckon, really showcasing mosaic well and using the enzyme better than most, this is really dry and clean and vibrant and without too much chemical weirdness or esters like a lot of them have. awesome clarity on it, real pale in color, straw looking, and very heady from the tap. heaps of mosaic on this, light cat pee, fresh sliced pineapple, and tangerine, with an herbal quality. bitterness is really low, but it does still have a crispness to the finish that i really like, the dryness is awesome. subtle white wine and even peach or apricot coming on late. the mouthfeel is perfect, awesome carbonation and a ton of life, it makes the hops seem super fresh in here, and its real easy drinking for being a little bit stronger. this is a style i still dont love, but i think its because there is a lot of bad ones out there. this is really good, better than most for sure. lowdown always delivers, they dont make a bad beer in here. i recommend this one highly!
