Robust Porter with Shortbread Cookies, Caramel, Toasted Coconut + Dark Chocolate Chunks
Our favorite coconut-caramel cookie in a beer! Shortbread cookies with caramel & dark chocolate are added directly to the mash then the brew is finished with a “dry-hop” of toasted coconut. A powerhouse brew with a sweet, delicious embrace. Decadent, Rich, Creamy Waves of Caramel & Sweet Cookie, Hint of Dark Cocoa + a Coconut Finish.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is big baker's chocolate: coconut and caramel show in the finish as the beer warms. Heavy bodied, sweet, with low carbonation. Nice but I did not get punched in the face with anything but chocolate. Definitely wanted more coconut. Decent but a pass in the future.

A- The can pours into a chalice with a black body where some dark brown peeks through just at the very edges. A one finger crown ascends to a finger high with a flimsy foamy texture but in the end good retention. Lacing with sheets at the onset and rare spots below that.
S- For me the aroma has chocolate as the dominant force. The caramel comes next with the toasted coconut and it suggests a fairly high sweetness. Roast grains, cookies, toasted nuts and a hint of Hersheys milk chocolate. Certainly like a Samoa.
T- Honestly quite balanced here with the chocolate just edging out other things on the taste buds. Dark chocolate and milk chocolate with the latter providing more strength lead into caramel, toasted coconut, a touch of dark fruits from the yeast and cookies. Some roasty bitterness but more on the sweet side overall.
MF- Light-medium bodied for the ABV and the style but it just kinda works out with the flavors present. The texture is mostly foamy and a bit frothy. Carbonation is on the high end and it ends with some warmth and cocoa bitterness.
Body comes off a bit thin but the balance is nice and the beer is neither too sweet or too roasty with nice caramel, coconut, cookie and especially chocolate flavors and aromas.

Tall can, w/o canning date or best before info that I can find.
Pour dark and sludgey, minimal head, froth, lacing.
Sweet dark malts on the nose, also dark chocolate and cocoa beans.
More of the same on the palate and as it warms the dark chocolate notes get richer and richer...yum yum...well worth a try.

Canned 4/15/19
Pours a dark mocha colored huge fluffy creamy head that fades very slowly with nice lacing, very dark but clear brown-black color
Nose loads of chocolate and caramel, fake chocolate like but also some cocoa and dark chocolate, marshmallow and cookie wafer, a bit of toasted coconut with the toasted marshmallow, light buttery cookie
Taste brings more of the same, lots of chocolate with fake chocolate but also a little dark chocolate cocoa, light bitterness, buttery cookie and lactose like flavors, light toasted coconut and toasted marshmallow, caramel, candied caramel creams, little bitter roasted malt note, fluffy nougat notes, creamy, light alcohol, drier finish but a bit sticky, bit more alcohol
Mouth is fuller bod but soft marshmallowy, little creamy, touch of alcohol warmth, medium carb
Overall not bad, has some fake tasting notes as there is so much adjuncts, base beer is there but not much, but definitely delivers the Girl Scout Samoan cookie like characters
