500ml bottle served in my HF tulip. Pours a copper hue with a dense, two inch, off-white head. Clarity has a slight chill haze. Nose expresses grassy notes with a hint of lemon and clove. Taste follows nose with the addition of some caramel malt to the backbone. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a slight creaminess to the texture and a bright carbonation. Overall, not my thing - not much complexity and too much of a malt bill.

From the bottle, it pours a hazy darker amber with a lusty head that lasts and lasts. Lacing excels in this beer. Lots of yeast, malt and fruit in the nose. The mouth gets the sweetish malt with some spice. Yum!

A bit strange for the style, but enjoyable. Pour is cloudy amber with thin layer of tiny bubbles. Aroma is of banana, caramel malt, and faint breadiness. Flavor is similar with a slightly sweet banana and bubble gum in front, finishing with a touch of spice semisweet. Nice caramel aftertaste.

Saison. Lots of banana, earthy malt sweetness. Shorter, dry finish.
Out of the two, the Jack's Abby one is way better. Something artificial about the Stoneface.

500ml bottle date 10/6.
Pours hazy amber with a moderate head and retention. Aromatics are mild with shades of sweet malt, toffee, cloves, and red apple. On the fuller side of medium bodied with a slightly chewy mouthfeel. Malt, candied apples, and clovey phenols on the palate. Finishes sweet with low bitterness and mild Belgian character.
With the substantial malt character, light funk, and low carbonation (for the style) I would say this beer is closer to a Belgian Pale Ale than a Saison.
