500 ml bottle, as Hilden Belfast Blonde, from Tesco Express, Belfast. ABV 4.3%. Golden colour, small white head. Again a meaty aroma with notes of stale broth, also hints of sewage. Is there something wrong with the water in Northern Ireland? The flavour is slightly better, but fairly bland and unexciting. Not a noteworthy presence of the Saaz and Hersbrücker hops.

(Okay so this review is a double up but Molly's Yard AKA College Green no longer Brew it all goes down at Hilden in Lisburn these days and Molly's is a pub now!)
Appearance – Clear golden straw like with a thin, bubbly white head that is rather soapy. Lacing turns patchy after a few seconds and retains this patchy cover throughout but does not providing any lacing in the glad.
Smell – Sweet with some light malts and a little bread in the front. There is some honey too and a faint, freshly cut grass aroma with some citrus lurking in the background along with some hints of grain.
Taste – Similar to the nose. Sweet with some honey and basic fruits. There was some dough and biscuit as well along with some faint citrus and grassy or lightly hops. The overall taste to be honest was distinctly average.
Mouth feel – Again this one is rather sweet with some noticeable grain and a small citrus tang on top of soft carbonation with a medium body sound enough balance.
Overall – An average balanced beer with a poor mouth feel and disappointing flavour.
