I'm not sure why others aren't big fans of this beer. I found it comparable to other Schwarzbiers I've had with nice roasty flavor. What can I say - give it a try!

On tap at the brewery.
Pours a dark brown, with a one inch head, and not much lacing.
Not very strong aromas here- some roasted malt and sweet grain, but muted.
This beer drinks pretty sweet, could be roastier. Some chocolate, along with mild grassy hop flavors. Seems to have the flavor profile of a weak dark mild instead of a German black lager.
Light bodied, a little too watery. Crisp mouthfeel, well carbonated.
Ok stab at the style, but a bit of a miss in the end.
