On tap at the brewery.
Pours a light amber color, with a one inch head and pretty good lacing.
Aromas include earthy/piney/grassy hops, with a bit of citrus.
The taste is pretty much the same. Good malt backbone here is noticed- some caramel malts, along with toasted bread. The hops are the main story here- bitter, piney resinous hops are the big flavor.
Medium bodied, crisp mouthfeel, pretty drinkable.
Wasn't sure how well Chinook would work isolated like this, but I enjoyed this one.
