On tap at JD Wine Cellars in Macedon, NY.
Pours weirdly thick and syrupy looking, kind of like maple syrup, with no head or lacing. Looks nothing like an oktoberfest, looks more like apple cider or something.
Smells like nothing, essentially. Flat and boring.
This tastes honestly awful. Way too sweet for an oktoberfest, with syrupy and cloying molasses flavors. It just falls flat. It has a weird chemical bitterness near the end too. What happened here?
The beer has no carbonation at all, really, leaving it flat, and watery, and not at all drinkable.
This was a disgrace.
