A drinkable beer, but completely off style. I had a draft at City Swiggers in NYC. It was cloudy, the flavor profile was too muddy to be a German style pilsner. Phenolics were too high, as well. Drinkable, but off style.

On tap at Twisted Vine and Tap in Delmar, NY.

This one pours a clear straw yellow, with a small head and lots of lacing.

This smells like slightly fruity hops, but mostly grassy, with pils malt on the back end.

The taste is similar. It's not quite crisp and snappy enough, but the hop flavor is appropriate, with nice spicy herbal flavors. I wish there was a bit more malt richness.

This is light bodied, and very drinkable, with a good level of carbonation.

This is a good start but not near the level of the best German examples.

Draft at Hellcat Annie's.

A- Draft pour to a pint glass with a hazy golden body. A small white cap forms with a foamy texture to about 1cm high and it dies out fairly quickly to a tiny ring. Lacing somewhat rare besides a few small specks.

S- Mostly noble hops with spicy, grassy, herbal and slight fruit notes. Pale pils grains and a mostly clean ferment.

T- Again the noble hops run the show. Spicy, grassy, earthy and herbal tea hops as well as a hint of lemon zest. Cracker and pils grains form a base. A bit of a mineral water character.

MF- Light bodied and mostly dry. Puffy, slight foamy texture. Very high carbonation. Light herbal bitters in the aftertaste.

A well fermented, clean and hoppy American-made Pilsner.

Pours with a light haze and a thinner fast falling white head. Nose is sweet saphir, light with herbal, spice and a light whisper of lemon. Cracker Malt. Drinks well with good flavors and small bubbles. Crisp bitterness to show you all the hops presence and a light whisper of lemon form the bittering hop. I thought I tasted a little soap in the finish. Finishes with bread and spice. I like how the website calls this an american pilsner and then describes the perfect german pils! Bitterness lasts and so does the malt in the finish!
