Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed light golden pour with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Great retention and lacing.
S: Grapefruit and citrus hops mingled with pine.
T/F: Grainy malts... strong grapefruit and citrus rind hops. Bitter with a hint of tartness. Pine and herbal notes on the back end... some tropical pineapple as well. Sticky on the tongue and medium bodied. Good bittering at the finish.
O: A pretty good IPA... easy drinking with solid bitterness.

Pours a hazy golden color with a quarter inch white head that dissipated quickly and left few dots of lacing. Smells predominantly of citrus fruits with some pine and tropical fruits. Tastes of grapefruit, grapefruit rind, lemon, pineapple, peach, pine, crackers malts floral notes and an earthy quality. Light bodied and carbonation, dry and bitter finish.

Pours a hazy golden color with a generous frothy white head. The carbonation is visible as are small particles of yeast. Head retains well and leaves a creamy film along with lacing.
Fruity aromas of citrus fruit, orange and grapefruit pulp, touch of lemon peel. Also, notes of mango, pear and papaya. The fruity hops interact nicely with a light herbal dank, floral, and crackery malt.
The taste opens with a pleasant silky, touch of caramel and crackery malt smoothness that imparts sweetness, along with citrusy hops flavor. Middle palate has a balancing dose of herbal, pine and grass flavors, and a moderate earthy bitterness. The finish is, likewise, resiny and moderately bitter.
Medium bodied, moderately carbonated, and a nice blend of crisp and smooth. Palate maintains a nice balance between, juicy, earthy and dry.
I liked how this ipa developed from sweet to predominantly bitter. I like how despite its fruity and juicy flavors, it still retains an old school earthy hops bitterness.
