A really nice high alcohol IPA, without doing a side-by-side I'd say similar to Alchemist Crusher, but this beer is no NE IPA, it's got a clean look, great palate, not a big nose but nice. Great beer, I can't wait to visit Gun Hill next time I'm in NYC.

Moderately cloudy orange-yellow body; creamy though thin head. Pungent aroma of orange and lemon. Tart citrus flavors; orange and grapefruit; bold bitterness; thin base of light malt. Medium body; sharp and prickly on the palate; primarily dry finish.
The beer produces an eye-popping and mouth-puckering bitterness on top of a subtle light malt base. The alcohol presence remains fairly well muted but does exhibit a bit of heat and bite. All in all, a dynamite little DIPA...

The beer pours out a hazy golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head---------- the aromas are of pine and orange zest(light aroma)------------ the flavors are of grapefruit pith, passion fruit, melon, papaya and mango, the beer has a medium mouthfeel with a bitter grapefruit finish------------ overall this beer was nice a little subdued on the nose but the flavors were big and bold

16oz can served in a pint glass. Canned on 2/19/18. Given to me by @mr-jj.
Pours a mostly clear golden with a nice medium-large head and medium carbonation. Smell is mango and pine resin.
Taste is a bit more on the pine resin side, but has a hint of "orange julius" to go along with it.
Mouthfeel is medium-thick. Overall, it's a very good beer.

Canned 2/19/18... Medium gold and hazy with a few fingers of ivory head on top... Another good one, far as I'm concerned - I'm getting a bright citrusy vibe serving as counter-point to deeper dank pine impressions... Solid bitterness, mild honey-lemon sweetness; smooth, slight heft to the body courtesy of a respectable malt backbone... Even though this is a 9.3% DIPA, it drinks like an IPA (which I like in a DIPA) - the feel is lean enough and the flavor profile is bright enough to be right on the border... I've only had a few Gun hill beers and they have not disappointed...
