This one is a little darker than expected, a shade darker than amber. The head is tan, small, and bubbly. It rests on the surface in a thick layer, and some heavy spotting does remain in its wake.
This is more unusual than not in that the flavor is a bit stronger than the aroma. Citrus makes a showing but doesn't seem to be as core a component as the name would imply. It does have a great melding of hops and malts with gentle sweetness and spicing, a touch of bubblegum and some earthy must. It perhaps ends with a bit more of a juicy note.
This beer is medium-bodied, some strong carbonation accounting for both crispness and smoothness, each in pretty good measure. The end does thin out and fall off just a little.
