This fall ale was made with 200 lbs of Yams...Yes YAMS BABY! The yams were drenched in a mixture of Vermont maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, & clove before they were baked at Fin's at Sharky's restaurant in Venice. After we brewed the beer, a baked mixture of cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla beans were added. The final touch was a modest addition of real, candied walnuts. Feel free to murder this beer like a Yam murders pumpkins and cheers!
