Had a full sample of this, and it was just plain bad.
Unbalanced aroma, blunt aspirin bitterness, no hop aromatics. Just a bunch of hamfisted chalky bitterness and booze. Pale orange gold color, thin skim of foam. Sharp nose with noticeable alcohol.
Taste was acrid and unpleasant. Thick and syrupy body with lower carb levels. Overall an unbalanced booze monster, extreme for extreme's sake. Far from a "5", the score is highly inflated. This simply isn't in the same galaxy as many top DIPAs or merely good ones.
