This unmistakable farmhouse style has aromas of peach, pear and apple with a touch of sweetness and prominent carbonation. A light spice reminiscent of white pepper and ginger rounds out the fruity flavors, finishing with a pleasant snappiness.

Looks like a pint of honey in my glass. Tall thick head with good lacing. Slightly hazy.
Noise has apples, pears, Belgian funk, mild bready notes, some grass and light honey.
Taste has all the right stuff. Honeyed malt sweetness, with a distinctive push of yeast funkiest. Those apples and pears flowing into grass and hay. Bright edge of hops with a mild white pepper bite. Some spicy notes with light ginger. No trace of the high alcohol content.
Crisp feel with lots of carbonation. Easy drinking with a delightful weight and smooth velvet swallow. Thirst quenching and fortifying.
A bright and snappy brew with lots of personality. Easy to session this and get in trouble. The higher abv makes it and iron fist in a velvet glove.

Served on tap at the Broken Bow Brewery in Tuckahoe, NY.
A: Pours a rather clear, dark golden color with a one finger, white colored head, good retention, and copious lacing.
S: Solid aromas of lemon, cardamom, and cloves.
T: Semisweet. Flavors follow the nose, but with vanilla/oak notes. Highly balanced, light bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Unusually smooth for a Saison.
O: This is a delicious and smooth Saison.
