12 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a rocky white head that retains fairly well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet artificial strawberry, slightly astringent.
The flavor is odd medicinal strawberry flavor with some wheat malt and vegetal notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, not good.

Had to review this as it’s the biggest mess of a beer I’ve had. The cans explode everywhere every time i open one. Then no matter how slow you pour it it turns in to a foam mess. Zero hint of strawberry I’m just beyond dissatisfied with this mess of a beer. Sorry

12 oz. Can
ABV: 4.8%
Poured into a Trillium glass a nice clean/clear golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice quick/fizzy/small white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, hoppy, wheaty, with a nice touch of strawberry. The taste is malty, yeasty, hoppy, wheaty, strawberries. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty nicely. Overall, a pretty tasty brew, nice thirst quencher.

This was an interesting idea, but didn't really taste like it should have. It's a filtered wheat, whereas most people prefer unfiltered, but either way, I didn't get any of the strawberry flavor. It was just a generic beer-flavored beer.

this beer has improved a lot since they first opened. its not so sweet anymore, and the strawberry flavor has moved from jammy and fake tasting, too sugary, into a more natural fruit complexion that is most definitely strawberry, really nice. the beer is light enough that it doesnt have to have so much fruit in it for it to show up, a real easy drinker. the wheat makes it fluffy feeling which is nice, but its not incredibly flavorful on the malt side of things, which i think helps keep it light. still a bit of sweetness here, the strawberry comes with that, but the fruit flavor is fantastic. creamy in feel, very bubbly, and snappy in the finish. as much as this is a style i do not often gravitate towards, they have done an excellent job with this, and it has become one of the better beers in this place. its odd to see so many beers on tap at a small brewery, and even weirder that so many of them are so pedestrian for how much they push their quality jargon on folks, but this one is actually very good, a beer i would be happy to have a few pints or more of in a given sitting, which is more than i would say about almost everything else they brew here...

Pours a hazy golden color, head is 1/5th of an inch and white. Head retention and lacing were average at best.
Pours of pale straw malt, slight corn, very faint fruit. Hops and alcohol are not present. All aromas of this beer are underwhelming.
Taste is of faint, sweet strawberries. Light malts which fit the profile more of a kolsch or lager than a wheat beer. No hops or alcohol present, as with smell, taste is underwhelming.
Mouthfeel was light and well carbonated. Foam from head faded pretty quickly, body was true to style.
Overall this beer was a decent sessionable summer beer but if the can didnt say strawberry wheat on it, I dont think I would think thats what the intended style was. Had about 4 other strawberry beers throughout the years and this was close to the bottom of the rankings of them.
