a bright golden saison type, clean and with a french type yeast strain, but appropriately restrained in terms of apparent fermentation temperature and resulting esters and such, its flavorful without being overdone, and yeast driven without being one dimensional, pretty solid for this type of saison. golden and close to clear in color, short lived white head, real light and without a lot of texture from the grain either, but its on the dry side and i dont wish it were any maltier. i like it being light there, it lets the yeast stand out without having to be too intense. i get fruity white wine from it, light honey, green pear, and a slightly tart citrusy element, but its only there for a flash helping it drink dry. light pepper and saltwater taffy here, no funk at all though this is clean, and with just a simple grassy hop thing at the end, a little goes a long way there too. more carbonation than it looks like its holding, and a pretty easy down and refreshing drink. i have not liked this type of thing in here before, the belgian or saison types have not been their best, but this one is pretty dialed in. i would have had another if there werent so many other beers calling out to me on their extensive and impressive list!

L: Slightly Hazy yellow straw color and a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S:. Sweet agave, notes of tequila. I don't get a lot of saison notes the tequila is a little overwhelming.
T: Sweet agave and tequila, as in the noise the tequila overtakes some of the saison notes.
F: Light body and creamy carbonation.
O: Sweet tequila is a little strong in this one.
