12 oz. can:
Pours pink with a thin white head that becomes a lasting floating island. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is strong - sour/tart - grain - with a light black current fruitiness.
The taste is sour - pickled black currents, (I almost get watermelon?) Sweet and sour finish.
Sour/tart but not really "funky". Fruity. Light. Smooth with alcohol well-covered. A sweettart candy-like character to it.
A unique, interesting brew.

Pours a vibrant magenta with a pink hue foamy white head that dissipates. I scored the appearance low only because it is called a "Blond" and this is anything but in its appearance. Smells of tart cranberries and blackberries (currants I presume). Tastes and feels like your drinking a slightly carbonated cranberry juice. A nice amount of acidity more than face puckering. Overall, this is a very enjoyable tart ale, hides it's 7.9 abv well, and ultimately is a refreshing mix up when in the mood. Cheers!

Pours translucent deep magenta with a thin light pink head that quickly disappears completely and leaves no lace. The smell is of light barnyard funk, cranberry, currants and cherries. The taste follows with tangy cranberries, unripe cherries, currants and boysenberry. Medium texture with crisp carbonation.
