Lavender Blonde

Look: Opaque dark orange with a sudsy head that quickly dissipates to a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Warm bread, lavender flowers and oil, some caramel, and light floral notes
Taste: Lavender comes on quickly but not too strongly as waves of bready malt follow close behind. Floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle and daylily mix with the lavender throughout and hold through the finish
Mouthfeel: Smooth, full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and soft and smooth on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. The first time I tried this, it was mainly because I’ve never seen the combo of beer and lavender before so had to and they did this unusual pairing justice as its lavender presence is good but not overpowering
