Yes, this beer was missing! Copper colored goodness, healthy earthness (Flavour) . This should be an IPA and it would be heaven! First time that a beer is medicine. I enjoyed this brew in Quebec-City at a market fair near the port.

500 ml bottle to glass in Quebec City.

A shopkeeper said this was uniquely Quebecois because of harvested mushroom in the beer. Medicinal properties, too? I had to try! I wouldn't have picked up on the mushroom flavor, but there was a welcome earthiness or richness to it that I don't think I imagined. The smell was better than the taste for me.

L-deep caramel copper
S-dark caramel, earth tones, something near light bourbon flavor or malt
T-sort of a thinner tasting scotch ale, maybe--a little malty, a little earthy (shroomy?), not unpleasant
O-enjoyable, glad I tried it

Bottle: Poured a clear copper color ale with a medium off white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light spicy notes with some dry caramel malt and light cereal notes. Aroma of cereal notes with some light spices and dry caramel malt. Chaga is hard to notice but it might also be the fact that I am not sure what it should taste like. Body is average with medium carbonation. Interesting but nothing really earth shattering.
