On draft
L: Red amber color with a thick creamy head
S: Carmel, brown sugar, and sweet malt.
T: Follows the nose with tons of carmel mixed with sugary sweetness. A nice hop bite comes in the finish and it leaves the mouth sweet.
F: Solid medium mouth feel. Nice and easy drinking.
Overall a great brown ale that I would love to get in cans or bottles.

On tap at The Foundry in Northampton, Poured proper into a modified pint glass.
A - Cocoa colored, beautifully capped with a lightly colored mocha cap.
S - A bit of roast malt, hints of chocolate, and light floral essence.
T - Right down the middle, just wonderfully balanced brown ale, finishes surprisingly dry, American yeast strain likely.
F- Medium bodied, nice carbonation, clean finish.
O - a wonderful Brown ale, light, flavorful.
Cheers

Foundation's Burnside Brown ale infused with Bard coffee from Portland. Tasting size at Brewery. Tastes pretty much like espresso was pumped into each glass and that's a good thing. Perfect compliment to malty Burnside. Slight bite but mostly very smooth

Tasting glass on tap at the brewery. (This was a cherry pie infused Burnside for "Pi Day.")

Appearance: Pours a rusty, cloudy brown with some reddish flecks floating around. One-finger off-white head. Some lace.

Aroma: Cherries, brown bread, malts, some sugar.

Taste: Definitely tastes like cherry pie. It's not cloying or weird, though - it's a good, sturdy brown ale with some nice sweetness from the cherries. Brewer said it was actual cherry pie filling.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Kind of has the body of a slightly heavy dessert.

Overall: Nice job by Foundation to pull this all together. A nice change of pace to celebrate both pi and pie.
