Pint on draft at Bayside in Portland.
Appearance: Clear dark gold. Minimal lace.
Aroma: Toasty, malty. Some grass and herbal character.
Taste: Follows nose. Malt forward lager. Very clean. Caramel. Faint hop.
Mouthfeel: Very easy on palate. Sessiony.
Overall: Odd time of year to have a winter lager on draft, but winter is long in Maine, I suppose. Decent minimal-frills lager.

From a growler filled at the brewery to a Teku glass.
Clear deep copper-brown color.
Light smell of caramel, molases, hint of hops.
Light caramel taste. Drinkable. Flavorful for a lager.
Balanced but zesty feel.
Overall, a pleasant lager experience.
