I was fortunate to acquire a can of this product in a trade and it turned out to be one of the best new beers I've tried in recent months. Although it's probably destined to be a seasonal product, I believe it's of sufficient body and taste to be a part of Foundations regular lineup. I may be disappointed as to its availability but I'll certainly try to pick up a 4-pk on my next trip to Maine.

A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that quickly fades down to an almost non-existent cap

S: Lots of banana and clove up front along with a yeasty undertone. Wheat in there as well

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the banana and clove notes followed by yeasty and wheat undertones. A little on the husky side

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A solid hefe packed with banana and clove. Super easy to drink. Great for the summer time

Pint on draft at Hella Good. RIP Hella Good!!

Appearance: Cloudy straw with a soapy head that disappears swiftly. After that, very flat.

Aroma: Honey, wheat. Mostly light on the nose.

Taste: Wheat, grass, honey, little bit of lemon. More lemony as it warms.

Mouthfeel: Pretty light of body.

Overall: I think this is the butt end of the keg. That said, it’s a pretty mediocre weizen. This brewery generally does better work than this.
