Can dated 05/22/19.
Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a glossy burnt yellow with some cloudiness about it. Barely any lace after a small topping of white foamy to bubbly head.
The aroma had some mango, danky sweet onion and citrus rind sweetness with a stifled bitterness.
The flavor leaned towards a crisp semi-sweet onion/citrus/mango. With some warmth, the onion seemed to mesh with some garlic. Some dry citrus rind and mango rounds out the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, maybe a touch under with some sipping ability but not too much. I feel like I could gulp this if I wanted to. Expected nice low carbonation. Semi-sticky yet dry tropical fruity finish.
Overall, it's good - maybe not as high on the scale of NEIPA's usually sought out but I could come back to.

Pretty spry beer mid six IPA. Nice citrus aromas - not the strongest nose. Flavors are nice - the thinness of the body does wonders here. The ample citrus rind and soft tropic fruit hops blend in with a pleasant crisp malt and dry yeast. Really easy to drink, even if the sum of its parts are a funny amalgam

Pours a somewhat cloudy gold color with a one finger off-white fizzy head that settles quickly.
Aroma is light and floral citrus with a touch of tropical.
Flavor is also somewhat light, maybe a touch too thin, but very pleasant. Bright tangerine and grapefruit notes dominate with a little tropical (pineapple?) in the background mid-taste. Pale malt is way background.
Feel is light and a bit watery with almost no bitterness. More crisp than soft.
This is ultimately an enjoyable beer - not heavy like some NEIPAs. This also makes it come across as thin and watery but the flavor is full enough to make it worth it. Comes across like a APA rather than a 7.1% IPA. Howe they did this is some kind of mastery.
I've never been a big fan of Foundation but there are a few offerings I like and come back to. This will be one more of them.
