The beer pours a visually pleasing cloudy golden color that glows a bit in the glass. Couple inches of foamy head the falls to a tight cap with good lacing.
The smell is fruit forward and an amalgam of the three fruits used. It's a tropical guava, passionfruit, pineapple melange. Slightly sweet and a bit of crackery malt comes through. Just enough to recognize as a beer.
The taste is light - again, all three fruits are clearly in play but the passionfruit becomes stronger as the beer warms. Definite malt presence, again "just enough", a very mild mainly fruit- driven acidity, slight sweetness.
Light, enjoyable, and refreshing - easy to drink. Not overly laden with fruit and certainly not pulpy like some of the slushier types. The Jam series isn't about that anyway.
As with most of the Jam beers, this one delivers well on fruit flavors along with adequate beer character in a light, refreshing manner. This one is particularly bright.

Drank from a 1 pint (16 fl. oz.) can
Served in a tulip

Thanks to hopley for hooking me up with this.
The beer poured a slightly hazy, glowing straw yellow hue with a subtle greenish tint. A frothy, finger-tall, off-white crown topped the liquid and fell to a thin halo. Spotty lacing trickled along the sides of the glass.
The aroma was solid but a touch more subtle initially than I anticipated. Fruity and sweet. Slightly tart as well. Passionfruit came through strong. Guava notes were detectable too. Bit of lemon. As the beer warmed, the passionfruit really intensified.
The flavor profile followed the nose but was a touch less punchy. Again, passionfruit dominated. Good dose of lemony tartness in the center. Hint of generic tropical fruitiness, though I would not pick out the guava or the pineapple. More lemon on the back end and the finish.
Solid mouthfeel. Creamy, fluffy and smooth on the palate. Medium bodied for the style. The liquid contained a finer beaded, zippier effervescence that worked nicely for the style.
Tropical Jam may not blow your socks off like some of the smoothie-style fruited kettle sours that are popular these days, but it was very tasty and enjoyable nonetheless. What this beer lacked in intensity it more than made up for in drinkability.

From a 16 oz. can dated 07/22/20. Sampled Sept 4, 2020.
Pulpy looking golden yellow pour with a fizzy fading white head.
There is an abundance of guava, pineapple, and passion fruit on the nose. Some toasted grain below it nut the fruit is front and center.
Light medium body.
The taste is tart and prickly but the fruit is overbearing. I suppose for the style it is very good but it just did nothing for me.

Sweet but not too sweet. Great flavor. Easily could drink many.
