Pour is excellent, as thick and bright as a glass of OJ, yet hazy when you look closely. Could have more lacing, but mine has also been in the fridge for a few months. Lots of fruit on the nose, apricot primarily, faintly peaches, mango, with pine resin in the back. Very pleasant, smooth taste with a bit of a kick in the lingering finish. Full of flavor, yet one of the smoothest DIPAs I've ever had. An exceptional beer, a shame it's retired.

Bright golden pour, tipping off the oat malts. But it also contains pilsner and Vienna malts, giving this IPA some lager, or IPL flavor. Denali, Galaxy and Simcoe hops do their job in bringing you back to the IPA world. This beer drains easily for an Imperial, delivering pine and fruit in equal measure. Refreshing, delightful. Foundation needs to revisit this one.

From a pint can dated 06/12/19. Sampled July 4, 2019.
The appearance is an opaque, milky, murky looking pale yellow with a modest then fading ivory head.
The aroma brings out characters of tropical fruit, pine, pineapple, and bread and cereal.
Medium to full mouthfeel and smooth all around.
Sweet bread and cereal start the flavor sensations and are quickly usurped by a more vibrant tropical fruit, juicy, and bitter hop finale. A bit of peppery spice to wrap it all up.

A: Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Citrus, tropical fruit, light pine, and some earthy tones
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and tropical fruit and then picks up some pine and earthiness. Moderately bitter. Oats come in towards the end
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. On the rougher side
O: A nice DIPA that is well balanced and on the easier side to drink
