Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned April 1st 2021.
Solid and nearly turbid opaque looking body. Very still with a big foamy white cap, not too bright, of an easy three fingers. Has some big bubbled retention, but lots of staying power, not giving an inch. Good sheets of webbing like lacing as it settles, with a slightly soapy look to it.
Good aromatics. Hop forward blasting of sweet herbs, green tea, spicy notes of herbs and grass too. Fits also some earthy profiles, with a hint of sweetness of light malt kicking in for excellent contrast. Complex quite a bit, but not overwhelming, a real pleasure on the nose.
Palate seems a bit more basic coming off a little less impressive but not terribly. Slightly juiced fruit with a real good spicy herbal kick in the mid palate. Finishes a touch pineapple/mango like with real good heat of hop like pine dryness. Touches some grass as well, within a light but still chewy body for mouthfeel.
Nice good earthy and herbal IPA, with a hint of fruit hop character. Aroma seems to imply a more superior beer but otherwise not much to complain about here.

From a 16 ounce can dated 04/02/20. Sampled May 21, 2020.
Hazy and pulpy orange amber pour. Opaque.
Aromas of pine and herbs with a cereal grain and earthy character in the mix.
Medium-full body.
Sweet and lower profile pine and pineapple juice taste but a bitter and dry end.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 4/2/20. Pours a very hazy orange yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace all over the place. 4.25
Smell is getting some lime immediately, lemon, apricot, orange, and grapefruit rind. 3.75
Taste follows lime, lemon, orange rind, apricot, and grapefruit in the rather bitter finish really lingers after each sip. 3.75
Mouthfeel is a solid medium, sticky and a little dry, soft gentle life, and at 8.7% this thing is loaded with flavor. 4.25
Overall this is nice, one of the bolder and more bitter NEDIPAs I have had in awhile, but I actually like it. Nice to have a change of pace these days. 4
