Pours a clear red with an inch or so of foamy head that subsists quickly and just about vanishes. Pretty looking stuff.

The aroma is a straight up explosion of mixed berries - strawberry is dominant, but I would be hard-pressed to decipher what else is in there. There's some blueberry - pretty sure of that and a tea-like whiff of raspberry. Maybe some blackberry, but it's all pleasantly mixed into a generic berry effect. Odd that the strawberry seems dominant, but it still smells great. Slightly acidic, slight jammy like cooked rather than fresh berries.

The initial sip strikes me as wine-like, then the raspberry/blackberry comes into play and the fruit jam just takes over. The strawberry is not nearly as potent as it is on the nose. All that fruit going on, yet there's still a hint of malt underneath, so the fruit isn't hiding the fact that this is a beer - the fruit is just the dominating flavor. The fruits a a little more discernable in the taste, but it really doesn't matter - it is just a very good berry flavor. Sour enough to offset the sweetness of the berries, but far from a tooth peeling sour.

Light to medium body, and for me it was slightly overcarbonated leaving a fairly sharp tingle on the tongue.

Overall this is an enjoyable brew and the fruit addition seems to be well-managed - assertive yet not completely hiding the beer aspects of the, well, beer...

A- Can to becher pour with a pink-red hue and a one finger foamy head. The cap dies out fast to a minimal ring around the edges. Lacing is minimal but not too surprising in a sour.

S- Berry parfait, berry jam, berry medley whatever you want to call it, this one brings the berries. Oddly enough, the strawberries prevail here which in my beer experience is never the case compared to raspberries. Strawberries and raspberries lead the way before a hint of blueberries comes out alongside lactic acid, berry seed, jam and overall it reminds me of blackberries.

T- Raspberry takes the front seat on the taste buds but you still appreciate the strawberry and blueberries for what they are. It takes on some of a berry medley feel but you can still pick up on the individual fruits with each sip. Lemon, lactic acid, berry seed, jammy, vinous, lightly sweet and yeast bread hints.

MF- Foamy and fluffy texture in a brew that is light to medium bodied. Carbonation is at a moderate level and a light sourness coats the palate in the aftertaste. Somewhat slick.

Foundation has a new fruited sour on the shelf pretty much everytime I visit my local store or visit the brewery and they just have a way with this style. You appreciate each fruit added but they also marry together very well and result in a balanced overall brew. The lactose is thankfully pretty subtle adding a nice smoothness without overpowering the great fruit/base sour flavors.

A: Pours a deep red color with some purple hues. 2 fingers of head quickly fades down to a thin cap

S: The mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries) are up front along with some lighter lactose and a bit of lactic tartness

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the berries and moderate tartness and then picks up some of the lactose and wheat.Finishes with lingering berries

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A solid kettle sour that provides lots of berries along with a good tartness. Easy to drink. Worth checking out
