Draft at the brewery
Mild creamy frothy head, fair retention, good lacing, jet black color
Nose big roast and some coffee but not burnt or acrid, a touch smokey, dark chocolate and a little fudge, mild spicy hop
Taste big roasted malts again with some dark roast coffee, little char and smokey more but again not burnt, dark chocolate and hint of fudge, mild baking spices and just a hint of licorice, med bitter spicy hop
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med frothy carb, a bit soft and lush
Overall solid
