A milk stout inspired by our favorite baking shows and our love of holiday cookies. Spicy ginger aroma leaps from the glass, with ginger and cinnamon rounded out by the vanilla.

A: The beer is close to being jet black in color and has traces of dark brown near the edges of the glass when it is held up to a bright light.
S: Light to moderate aromas of ginger are present in the nose along with hints of cinnamon.
T: The taste follows the smell with prominent flavors of ginger and has notes of milk chocolate with hints of vanilla.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This milk stout is nice if you are a fan of ginger but seems like it could use some more in the way of chocolate malts to make this more like a holiday cookie. In any event it drinks quite easily.

Appearance: Pours coffee colored with a bubble show that builds a large but quickly fading head; streaks and spots of lacing
Smell: Gingerbread aromatics with ginger, vanilla and cinnamon joining the milk chocolate elements
Taste: Milk chocolate and vanilla forward, with ginger bursting and, along with the cinnamon, creating a slightly hot sensation; the finish is rather sweet
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This beer captures the gingerbread concept fairly well but the level of sweetness is greater than what I prefer
