The Farmhouse Saison originated as a pre-modern Belgian primarily made in small farmhouse breweries during early spring each year. These specialty craft beers are brewed hoppy and fairly strong in order to keep through the summer, but they are fantastic all year long. This masterful brew is based on an initial mash of Pilsner, Wheat, and NYS Pale Malts, then hopped to perfection with a combination of Magnum and Goldings. These provide a visceral, bracing bitterness and floral hopped overtones. Finally, the unique Belle Saison Yeast provides a striking spicy, peppery and earthy tartness, making this brew a standout from your average ale.

This beer is great for paling around, an entry beer, or just sitting back after a long day. As a Saison, it is just ok.
