From draft at Lost Borough. Described as an IPL -- India Pale Lager? Poured a pale yellow, most clear, with little head. Almost no nose, but the overpowering smell of disinfectant or cleaning solution in the room made it tough to smell anything. Pleasant taste but nothing to write home about. Other beers on draft were more interesting.
From the tap list: This Uber drinkable India Pale Lager receives its namesake from the wholesome addition of Loral Hops, a Yakima Valley variety that straddles the fence between old and new world hop aromatics, producing a flavor profile often described as floral, peppery, lemon-citrus and dark fruit. Since this is a lager, it is incredibly drinkable and lower in alcohol due to its blend of NYS Pale and Carapils malts. It also has a soft mix of Sorachi Ace, Pacifica, and Equinox hops to add just the right amount of bittering kick to easily qualify as an India Pale. Lagered to perfection this beer is true to its Loral name providing a taste that's fresh and clean, with floral, citrusy hop flavor and crisp to the finish.
