L-The pour is a clear purple from the red and black currants. The head is minimal and disappears within seconds. There is no lacing. This looks beautiful in the glass.
S- The smell.....is not attractive. I've heard of people describing something as "vomit" and unfortunately that is what I'm reminded of. At this point I'm praying that it tastes better than it smells.
T- It is sour much like the base beer that makes it up. The currants only add to this although I've never had currants previously so it's tough to pick out. I don't get any sage. The beer is tart, but seems a bit one dimensional.
F- The beer is highly carbed and light overall. It really has to be with a beer this tart.
O- The color on the beer is the real highlight here. There is a high degree of acidity and the tartness is a little high end. Unfortunately since the base beer was a a sour saison to begin with, it is hard to pick out individual notes added by the currants and sage.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
