Draught. Not subtle. Smells of jalapeƱos. Tastes like if a margarita banged a beer and had a baby. A little sour. Finish is bready.

Canned 2021/05/03
Pours a med frothy creamy 1 finger head with good retention, fair lacing, clear light pale color
Nose is interesting, creamy lacto like that gets a little cheese like, then pepper, pineapple, apple cider, fruity
Taste brings pepper up front, green pepper but almost no heat, little pineapple and tropical citrus like fruit, tangy acidic pineapple, light sourness and lacto creamy, don't really get salt either, flemmy finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, creamy, med frothy carb, flemmy acidity
Overall a big let down, not much base gose, no salt, pepper had a little flavor but no heat, pineapple was a little weird, some apple cider somehow, just not that good

Golden mimosa color; the head is loose, foamy, and short-lived. Biting mango-melon rind on a salted margarita glass. The aroma of nearby Mexican BBQ wafts through: chili-sugar dry rub along with grilled and caramelized pineapple. The taste is pungent and slightly funky sour like a chili-dusted Tamarindo candy stick. Sweet and sour--pineapple and pome-- tropical fruit along with slight salt brine of sea air. A bit tingly feel to start, and very effervescent although a bit lacking carbonation. Creamy, saline and light bodied. This beer is definitely for a day at the beach.

Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch slightly off white head over a pineapple yellow body with scant lacing. Straight up Gose on the nose. Taste is where this shines, with the perfect conjunction of flavors from its ingredients: pineapple, jalapenos, and sea salt. Pineapple first, then the spice comes along, and then a slight salty finish. Nice feel and overall, this would pair famously with my Friday night salmon feast or even oysters on the half shell. Cheers to the guys from Winooski, VT!
