weird looking brew with a dark orange color, meringue head is pretty sexy. aromas are this perfect pithy and zesty dill quality, melon, cool cucumber and some pickle quality in there, just the slightest hint of vanilla and booze ... insanely enticing! on the palate is this fresh dill and pickle quality up front, honeydew, bready malt quality and a decent amount of bourbon flavor ... some vanilla character as well. on the nose these aspects worked together because the booze was mellowed, but on the palate they sort of clash. still a very interesting beer.
