Wasn't sure if this was a gose or just a regular Americanized wild ale, two cans one was poured into a pokal and the other a tulip.
The appearance was basically the same in both - a mild yellow color with a finger and a half's of white foamy head that swiftly slid off leaving barely any lace.
The aroma meshed together some coconut, lime, lemon and a bit of salt with some sour to tart character rolling it all together.
The flavor, once again, pretty much copied the aroma and added in a little bit of sweetness along with a light toastiness from the coconut. Super mild aftertaste of lime, coconut, salt and tartness.
The mouthfeel was about light bodied, perhaps just a touch above and having a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Mild lime to lemon sour-ed sort of finish with a slight saltiness.
Overall, it's pretty damn good for how it comes across but I can't quite right put my finger on it. I'd have again preferably for me but this is quintessential Four Quarters where one has a hard time deciphering what style this is supposed to be. Just drink and enjoy and try not to overthink this one.

Continual carbonation but nearly no head. There are a couple of spots left on the glass. Straw color and nearly clear.
An unusual smell of oregano and pepperoni reminiscent of pizza. There's also a chili pepper nose. There's little "typical" brew aroma.
The taste starts off like the smell but there's a huge sour kick that is upon you in less than a second. I get plenty of wine flavors here. The body is also similar to a sparkling wine. Tart finish. In a word, interesting.

L-The beer pours golden with only the slightest haze. The head is a solid two fingers of bright white foam. The head hangs around longer than most wild ales, but eventually recedes to the barest of rings with no lacing.
S- The nose starts out dominated by the lime, but a subtle coconut sweetness breaks in over the top and hangs on melding with the lime.
T- The beer starts out with some basic lacto sourness. Mid palate however the lime kind of breaks in and takes over giving the beer some complexity. At the end of the sip, as the lime fades away, that sweetish coconut present in the nose pulls away like a distance runner and holds to the briny finish line.
F- The mouthfeel is light. Carbonation is light after the initial pour allowing the flavors to linger. The sea salt really plays a nice part here in helping to dry the finish. Almost Gose like truth be told.
O- This may be the best Vermont sour ale I've had. It delivers on all the promised components in levels that are not overdone. This leaves you with complex and interesting beer in a category that can be one note all too often. I can't recommend this beer highly enough for sour fans.

Pours a clearbright gold with a small finger of head that breaks quickly. Decent if sporadic lacing.
Smell is tart lime and unrefined/raw coconut with some nice underlying tones of other fruits I cannot define.
Taste is a big start of tart lime. Then subtly, the coconut starts to come through. It really works quite well.
Feel is nice and light with good carbonation. Finish is quite crisp and puckering, a great combination.
Well, I bought this beer because of the name and artwork. My wife and her Dad are big Harry Nilsson fans and I figured I'd share a can or two. I have to say, this one really surprised me,I love the way the lime and the coconut work together. Bravo.

pours out an almost clear glowing golden straw color with a bright white head the quickly fizzles away (with a more agressive pour there is a beautiful soapy head and some lace clinging to the glass) ... also had to boost the appearance score a bit because the can is so fking sick! aroma is really interesting, getting this strong briney salinity, as well as some tart citric qualities of lemon and lime, a mellow funk, and some toasty character i cant quite put my finger on, likely the coconut? taste is much the same, leads with a smack of tart lime, sea salt, lemon, coconut, and some bready wheat notes playing in there as well. to my taste its a somewhat assertive amount of sour flavor, but the touch of sweetness and toasted aspects of the coconut really round this one out. mouthfeel is very light and carbonated, crisp and super refreshing. once again a ridiculously well executed offering from theses guys!
