Huge, frothy head. 3/4 of the glass is beginning head size. Extraordinarily dense. Very slow recession...rocky. There are at least two-fingers of head throughout the tasting. The liquid is nearly black. No light passes. Good lacing but no blankets.
Deep dark chocolate aroma with only modicum of sweetness to the nose. Light chalkiness.
Smooth, almost oily body. Strong coffee presence not noticeable in the smell. Mid-taste, there's a sudden unexpected sweetness. I don't pick up on any strawberries directly. The alcohol is notable but not overly warming. The aftertaste is relatively brief although the booze seems to linger on.

good looking brew, taste delivers exactly as the name describes. plenty of tart seedy and lush strawberry flesh, milk chocolate and roasty malt play supporting roles. mouthfeel has some texture to it, but for a 9% dessert stout, could definitely be better.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small foamy head, and not much lacing.
This smells liek strawberry jam or strawberry preserves, chocolate syrup, and a bit of caramelized sugar.
This is a tad simplistic, but still pretty tasty. The base stout doesn't shine through super strongly, but the flavorings are well done, as there's a really nice jammy strawberry thing going on, and some nice fudginess from the chocolate addition. I want a bit of roastines or something else from whatever the base stout is- this feels a tad thin.
Like mentioned above, the body isn't super perfect here. It's definitely a touch thin, a little bit watery, but it's definitely drinkable.
Four Quarters has always been good at "adjuncty" stype stuff. The base beer isn't perfect, the fruiting worked well.
