Can to tulip.
The pour had a light pink color yet when held up to the light it had a semi-hazy burnt yellow to copper color with a fairly thick white foamy head dissipating at a fine pace to leave some spider web lace thin and semi-filmy.
The aroma had an absolutely amazing blend of strawberries to rhubarb - all of the sweet and tart characters with a touch of grassy dry to lemon tones underneath.
The flavor blended a superior finetuned quality of authentic strawberries to rhubarb fully into each other and carried a sly crust/crisp pie breadiness underneath. Aftertaste was fully intertwined from strawberries to rhubarb and a semi-dry crust underneath.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair in between quality of being sessionable and a sipper. Carbonation seemed to be on par and allowed a touch of stickiness. The finish was totally enthralled with the authenticity of the strawberries and rhubarb.
Overall, well done Mr. Eckert and company. What a spectacular Summer beer!
