Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Picked up the cans at the brewery in Winooski a few days ago. No date stamp on the can, but there is a sticker on the 4 pak holder of 9/27.
the beer pours a cola brown and sits slightly darker in the glass. I get a dense yet fluffy khaki head of about 1 cm on the pour. This foam fades to a sturdy edge layer and one large wispy surface island.
Aroma is roasted malt and dark chocolate, almost a charred wood note. Not really any sweet malt notes on the nose. Maybe a little earthy hop note. No abv hints.
First sip reveals a medium body with fine tingly carbonation and very smooth texture. Pretty easy to drink.
Flavor is dark dark chocolate and some roasted malts, lingering roast flavor is a little coffee ground note too. No hint of hops nor ABV.
Pretty solid porter that I am glad to have tried.

Poured from a 16 oz can; no birth date. Pours solid black with no head. Not sure what happened but almost devoid of any noticeable taste or smell. Cold and black - that's about all I got.

Mouth is med to fuller bod, almost rich chewy, med to a bit higher foamy carb
Overall really nice porter

Can to English pint glass. Stamped "12MAR20" on the bottom side of the can
The appearance poured brown in color but yielded more of a darker brown close to black in my glass. Eggshell white foamy head softly dissolved to leave a concave lace.
The aroma had some sweet char/ashy tones with some roasty coffee beans, mellow dark chocolate and dark toast.
The flavor had more of a dry roasty and toasty darkness with some cocoa beans and earthy character. Quick aftertaste of roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate nibs.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Enough dryness equating to a touch of smoothness. Finishes dry and roasty, some bitterness.
Overall, good porter, easy enough to come back to.

Can. Dark brown with lasting ring and lace. Coffee chocolate ashy earthy aroma with a hint of booze. Dark chocolate coffee beans with some tangy fruity yeast and probably oats. Extremely dry with long very bitter earthy citrus finish. Medium body. Harsh.
