Four Quarters Brewing IPA - Imperial/Double
Sweet tropicals and blueberry in the hop forward nose. Earthy pine hop taste at first then an interesting mix of sweet fruits: strawberry and blueberry mostly, then dry, peppery earth tones. Feel is juicy, slightly watery and a bit spicy. Very interesting

Got a 4-pack of this from my daughter Caitlin when she vacationed in VT last Fall.... having a 16oz can (or perhaps 2?) out on the back porch as a mild T-storm rolls through....
Pours a hazy, muted, light golden-straw color. A hard pour brought forth a 2" layer of rocky, frothy off-white suds. It is lasting quite well so far, and leaving great lacing on the glass. Aroma is pithy and rindy, suggesting bitterness to follow when tasted. Body is a decent medium, with a fairly smooth feel on the tongue.
Flavor starts off with crackery, biscuity malt, and has a light semi-sweetness.
Has some mild grapefruit and pineapple, with pithy, rindy, piney notes contributing to the bitter hop action. Finishes well on the dry side. Well made and fairly tasty, though I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Prosit!!
