From a 16oz can, dated 06/23. Served in a willi becher glass.
Pours a mucky and murky burnt apricot colour with two fingers of soft suds. Retention is good, leaving a thick, bubbly cap and gobs of bubbly lacing. Held up to the light, there is a revolting assortment of lazily churning particulate matter.
Nose is relatively faint but pleasant. Aroma is straight-up strawberry jam.
Taste is… confusing. There’s clearly the cardboardy taste of oxidization but, beyond that, it’s like most of the sugar in the strawberries was fermented away so, although it tastes like strawberries, it’s the taste of strawberries with none of the sweetness I associate with strawberry. Tasting cardboard, orange, unsweetened strawberry, under-sweetened whipped cream and, somewhere, buried down deep, what I expect started out as a really decent base beer. There’s a boozy, sour cream and cognac aftertaste.
Feel is smooth and creamy but grittiness becomes apparent later on. Medium-thick bodied with ample fine, fizzy carbonation.
Overall, well, I’m not a fan of fruit in beer anyway, so maybe I should just stay the fuck away from beers like this. Not half as awful as I made it out to be and, in fact, now that I’ve stopped picking it apart to review it, there’s a fairly pleasant strawberry ice cream vaporous thing lingering in my sinuses (along with cardboard).

16 oz can.
Pours a muddy, deep burnt orange color with a very large and very stubborn sudsy khaki head.
The aroma is pretty one-note, though that isn't unexpected. Fresh strawberries and strawberry creme candy. A hint of citrus and black currants.
The flavor has a ton of strawberry ice cream, raspberries, and black currants. Some very subtle citrus.
The feel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Very creamy and soft. About what it should be for the style.
Overall, this is a solid milkshake IPA. It comes as advertised, and the strawberry doesn't completely overpower the hops.

Pours a hazy peachy-yellow with a thin off-white head that quick settles into a thin crown that leaves moderate lacing. Decent lacing.
Big strawberry in the aroma. Maybe a hint of cream.
Strawberries and cream flavor, but a little hairy tasting. A slight herbal note shows in the finish that’s pretty pleasant.
Medium bodied and lightly creamy with a nice, strong fizz.
It’s hard for breweries to get berries right, and while this isn’t awful, they don’t knock it out of the park either. I probably would have preferred the strawberry notes from the hops shinning on their own than all the “add junks.”

this is a ridiculous brew... looks beautiful and aromatics are very pleasant but the flavor and mouthfeel is where it really shines through. there is a crazy complexity in the strawberries - getting the overly sweet perfectly ripe flesh, some tarter seedy notes, and a beautiful biscuity strawberry cream flavor that reminds me of eating bisquick biscuits with strawberries, milk, and sugar. although its focused on sweet and fruity and creamy, there is still a hop quality, some grassy green herbaceous flavor and a subdued grapefruity bitterness. it has a decadent smoothness of heavy cream and vanilla, bready malts throughout. while i love the tired hands version of this beer, i have to give 4Q the upper hand for having such a deep and complex strawberry flavor, creamy and bready aspects complimenting perfectly.

Released today at their Strawberry Festival. Pours a strawberry blonde hue with a nice head. Amazing mango and strawberry with a touch of cream. Tart, hoppy and sweet all in one. Lactose softens the mouthfeel and allows strawberry to shine. LOVE IT!!
