On tap at The Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like roasted malt, oak spice, dark chocolate, milk chocolate candy, and vanilla.

This is one of the better, if not the best, stouts that I've had from Four Quarters. It's not overly chocolatey, and the barrel layers in some spice and vanilla that do a good job infusing the chocolate (back)drop with some nice complexity.

This is thick, creamy, and very smooth, with very little booziness overall.

I didn't even really know that Four Quarters had much of a barrel program, so this was a cool treat to run into on tap.
