Four Quarters Brewing
IPA - American
On the lighter side of NE hazies, pithy and sour bite at first runs clean through the finish. Brett? Nah, just the hop bill, I believe? Grainy wheat style maltiness for a balance. Grainy and earthy bite with saturated sweetness around the edges. Earthy, tangy, spicy and oddly sweet.

The Look: Probably the best part of this beer, it looks fantastic in a glass. Dark gold in color, very little haze, and a nice big foamy head. It doesn’t get much better than this!
The Smell: Not bad, but very one note. Lots of orange & tangerine on the nose, like you’re sniffing an orange peel. There’s a hint of malt in the background, but not much.
The Taste: Just like the nose suggests, nothing but citrus here. Orange stands out, more like an orange juice than the actual fruit. A very slight bitterness lingers for just a moment at the end of the sip.
The Feel: Moderate body to it, again, almost like orange juice. I feel like this beer could benefit from being a bit thinner on the palate. It doesn’t have the strong flavors to really back up its consistency.
Overall: Not a bad beer, but nothing spectacular. If you’re a particularly big fan of orange, give it a shot. This is a beer you will enjoy. If you aren’t a die hard orange fan though, it’s nothing to search the shelves for. Pick one up if you crave a citrusy IPA with a lower ABV, but don’t feel bad if you pass on it.

I can't say a lot about this beer - it looks decent enough, but has a weird, chemical like aroma that I found really off-putting.
It carries through to the taste as well - it tastes like you're chewing on an orange rind. I'm sure that's likely because of the hops they used in this beer, but I couldn't find any information about it on their website or on the can. Bottom line for me, I didn't like this beer and ended up drain pouring it. At least i know not to purchase again in the future.
