Appearance: The appearance is nestled around light gold, copper and bronze. Decent clarity. Small, frothed, white head.
Smell: Simple Machine smells simply of garden variety pils malts with its characteristic grassy, grainy bent. A little citrus, a little herb.
Taste: A sweetish taste of pils malt, a tad grainy. Low fruitiness. Modestly herbal hops with light bitterness. Gently drying as you near the finish but still leaves you with a hint of the initial sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Though not the tightest, brightest pilsener on the block as I'd prefer it just a hair drier and crisper, but it gets the job done.
