16. 9 fl oz bottle poured into a tulip glass, a murky ruby red with brown highlights, with an immediate movement to a thin layer of lace. A few chunks of floating sediment visible. The smell is cider, pear, maybe some cherry. The taste is moderately sour, in line with nose, but I do get some barrel notes that weren’t there originally. Things mellow as it progresses, with a good Flanders red underneath. The carbonation is medium, the feel is medium. Overall, a well made , if pricey , Flanders red.

L: Poured from a bottle to a snifter glass. Had a reddish-brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy / fizzy head that lasted a below average amount of time. So-so lacing.
S: A nice aroma of Belgian yeast, cherries, a vinous quality, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a good shot of the vinous quality (red wine, specifically), a lot of cherries (present throughout), some Belgian-style yeast, and a tinge of chocolate. A very subtle and focused flavor. Unlike a lot of beers in this style, it's not overly sour or tart. The addition of the red wine is interesting. Tasty stuff.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is a very solidly made beer. Definitely worth a try.
