Two drafts at Village Tap, served in a snifter.
Hazy opaque pale orange, a finger of foam on the surface, unprecedented thus far for Transient in terms of carbonation. Takes awhile to settle, some spotty lace sets up around the edges.
Aroma is softly citrusy, minor herbal/floral/earthy character.
Lightly tart and fruity, undercurrent of dry earthy saison yeast, green botanicals. Seems fresh and interesting, though it takes a hit from a lack of carbonation. It feels more like a cask ale, though has a fairly substantial body. Overall this was good, not too far off from their Galaxy hopped farmhouse, but as usual it lacks a bit in carbonation. Drank two in a row as it tasted pretty good, and seemed to improve as it warmed.
